Technology Vendor Manager

(Atlanta, Full-time, Hybrid)

Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced Technology Vendor Manager to join our team. In this essential role, the Vendor Manager will play a critical role in managing Fisher Phillips’ portfolio of technology vendors. This position is responsible for maintaining strong, proactive relationships with third-party providers across IT, Security, and Information Governance functions. The Vendor Manager will ensure alignment of vendor deliverables with firm objectives, oversee contract renewals, service agreements, and RFPs, assist in technology procurement processes, and contribute to the implementation of new vendor and contract management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships across IT, Security, and Information Governance, ensuring consistent communication and accountability.
  • Track key contract milestones, including service renewals, expirations, and performance reviews to ensure timely action and prevent lapses.
  • Coordinate and support RFP processes for new technology projects and vendor evaluations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across IT, Security, Governance, Procurement, and the firm’s General Counsel to align vendor services with firm requirements and policies.
  • Ensure timely processing of IT invoices and expenses.
  • Coordinate the negotiation, review, and execution of vendor contracts and amendments in collaboration with internal legal and procurement teams.
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and escalate service issues as appropriate.
  • Partner with the Application Support team to ensure vendor oversight and license compliance are aligned.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of new vendor and contract management tools and systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of vendor contacts, contracts, service levels, and related metrics.
  • Ensure vendor-related processes support the firm’s information security and governance policies.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, new vendors, and best practices in vendor management and technology procurement.
  • May include supervisory or team leadership responsibilities depending on department growth and structure.

Requirements

  • Technology degree and/or 5 years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, contract administration, or related IT operations role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and vendor ecosystems.
  • Experience managing RFPs, contracts, service level agreements, and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vendor engagements and deadlines concurrently.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and frameworks.
  • Vendor management or ITIL certifications (e.g., VMO, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
  • Experience in legal, professional services, or other compliance-driven industries.
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools or vendor management platforms.
