(Associate, Counsel, and Law Student Division)

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Preference for candidates in the Pacific Time Zone—California, Oregon, or Washington); option to work from a Fisher Phillips office if desired.

Schedule: Full-time

Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Assistant to support our dynamic recruiting team in all facets of associate, counsel, and law student recruitment—including entry-level, summer clerk, and lateral attorney hiring. This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support, and reports to the Director of Attorney Recruiting in the Associate, Counsel, and Law Student division of the Recruiting team.

Key Responsibilities

General Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the attorney recruiting team, including managing correspondence and calendars.
  • Process expense reports and check requests through systems like Chrome River.
  • Prepare reports and respond to ad hoc data requests and surveys.
  • Coordinate meetings and interviews.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Lateral Attorney Recruiting

  • Maintain candidate files and databases; ensure accurate records and status updates.
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for virtual and in-person candidate interviews.
  • Assist in supporting the onboarding process for new lateral attorney hires.
  • Prepare electronic evaluation packets and assist with follow-up to collect feedback from interviewers.

Law Student Recruiting & Summer Clerk Program

  • Assist with the execution of the Summer Clerk Program and law school outreach events.
  • Assist with and coordinate engagement with law students and law schools through job fairs, panels, and networking events; help organize and distribute resumes for recruiting events.
  • Assist with all facets of On-Campus Interview (OCI) logistics, including but not limited to resume packet creation, interview scheduling, and callback coordination.
  • Provide both virtual and on-site support for recruiting events as needed.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking systems and recruiting documentation.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in a law firm, professional services, or corporate recruiting environment.
  • Client Service: Strong client service orientation and ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Organization & Time Management:
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
    • High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Solid PC skills with strong clerical aptitude.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Comfortable operating standard office equipment, including phone systems (voicemail and conference calls), copiers, scanners, and printers.
  • Applicant Tracking Systems: Experience with ViRecruit or similar systems preferred.
  • Initiative & Flexibility:
    • Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
    • Flexibility to work overtime during peak recruiting periods.

The hourly rate range for this position is $27.88 - $31.25. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
