New Business Intake Specialist

Location: Remote (must be located in the Pacific Standard Time Zone)

Preferred Schedule: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, but it's not required.

Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced New Business Intake Specialist to join our team. In this essential role, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our services, providing crucial support to our department in delivering exceptional client service and maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist in the opening of confidential high priority new business intake requests for all Fisher Phillips Offices
  • Issue client and matter numbers for all new business intake requests in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist with responding to the New Business Intake Department email box in connection with new business intake related questions and requests
  • Review new matter requests for accuracy and adherence to firm policy and procedure
  • Communicate with lawyers and legal administrative assistants on new business intake requests regarding billing and credit arrangements
  • Assist New Business Intake Manager in firm technology projects involving new business intake and other conflicts related tasks, as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a law firm environment (preferably new business intake)
  • Experience with Intapp, iManage, Jira, S&P Capital IQ, and Aderant preferred

Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with both the FCO and the California Fair Chance Act (FCA).

The hourly rate range for this position is $31.25 - $35.30. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
